Let us know how we did!
If you were served by the New Orleans Mobile Crisis Intervention Unit (MCIU) during a crisis either as the person in need of support or as a loved one, we want to hear from you.
There are four ways for you to make your voice heard.
- Complete a participant experience survey HERE
- Join the Participant Experience Committee (PEC) HERE
- Join the Community Advisory Board (CAB) HERE
- Participate in a paid research interview or focus group HERE
Feel free to share your thoughts in any or all of these ways.
What is the participant experience survey?
The participant experience survey is an anonymous survey that anyone who receives services from MCIU can complete to let us know how the experience went for you. If we did a great job, we want to know about it so we can keep providing care that way. If we didn’t meet your needs, we want to know how we can serve you better. This survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and helps us improve the way we respond to crises like the one you experienced.
What is the Participant Experience Committee (PEC)?
The Participant Experience Committee is a group of people who have used the MCIU service and want to help guide that work moving forward. The group meets in person four times a year to discuss the program. The people on the committee are asked to help think about ways this program could better serve the New Orleans community. Members of this group are paid for their time and expertise. Transportation to and from the meetings is covered.
