Support Our Work
The people we serve rely on the generosity of those who believe that every person, despite their challenges, should be treated with dignity and have the opportunity to develop their full potential.
You can help create brighter futures for many adults and children with special needs. Donations received from friends, foundations, and businesses directly improve the quality of life for all RHD clients and allow RHD to continue developing caring, effective, and innovative programs that help people in need build better lives for themselves.
You can also send a check as a tax-deductible donation, in any amount, to:
Resources for Human Development
4700 Wissahickon Avenue, Suite 126, Building A
Philadelphia, PA 19144-4248
If you’d like to donate to a specific program, please note that with your donation.
If you wish to give a tribute gift in memory or honor of a loved one:
Please note “in memory of” on your check. To make a memorial donation online, please contact fundraising at [email protected], telling us your donation should be marked as a tribute gift in memory of a loved one. Your secure online donation will be designated accordingly. Please include an address if you would like us to acknowledge your gift.
If you wish to support your workplace’s United Way campaign, please designate RHD to receive your payroll deduction. RHD’s Donor Choice number is 00838.
Resources for Human Development accepts in-kind donations, which can include furniture for our residential facilities, books for our libraries and reading rooms, or any goods and services — including volunteering. Because RHD is a national organization supporting more than 160 programs across the country, there is no centralized mechanism for coordinating volunteer efforts or in-kind donations at a program. Please contact RHD programs directly for information on how to make an in-kind donation, share your time with consumers, help out in a program’s office, or lend your expertise to an advisory board or special event. You can search RHD program by service line and geography here.
