Given the planned increase in taxes, I expect that my tax bracket will go up and I’ll have more U.S. taxes deducted from my pay.
I say "yes" to this proposed action because it is part of a plan to increase tax payments for corporations and the financial sector – not just me.
Corporations and particular interest groups pay lower percentages of tax on their incomes than most of RHD’s employees. Those who own property can reduce their tax obligations while increasing their personal wealth. Even our own Pennsylvania governor promoted reducing taxable income on corporations that will be drilling for natural gas.
We need to really “level the playing field” so that we stop or significantly reduce the practice of getting more tax from the poor and the middle class and less from those who benefit from the same society (roads, police, airports, etc.) but pay less.
