Description |
Compeer of Suburban Philadelphia is a community-based volunteer program providing opportunities for mutual friendships that offer support and life-enriching experiences for people managing a mental illness. Compeer brings the healing power of friendship to adults in mental health recovery by pairing them with trained, caring volunteer companions in one-on-one, supportive friendships. The program serves Delaware and Montgomery counties and is one of nearly 100 similar affiliate programs in the United States and Canada. Volunteers are always welcomed and needed. |
